To start off, this guitar is worth it! The sound of it is great, its a good looking guitar, and its made from one of the biggest guitar manufactuars. My friend got this guitar about a few months ago and i've used it whenever we hang out and its just a great guitar for its inexpensive price. I truly recommend this guitar package for any beginner. You wont find a greater deal than this one!

i had this guitar for a couple months now and it is a really good guitar..i mean i would have paid aleast $200 just for the guitar..i noticed many people said that the gig bag was bad but hello, its basically free..you get the picks, the strap, the gig bag, a tuner, a pouch, and the amazing guitar just for $100. after you get use to the strings, re-string it...otherwise it's a great guitar...and thats the most important thing right?..not the gig bag, or the tuner or the strap

I got this guitar for my birthday a couple of years ago. For the price, I would have to say that this package is hard to beat. The guitar itself is pretty nice looking, and there's nothing on it that really looks cheap. After two years of playing it nothing has broken or anything like that. The bag holds up, but doesn't give much protection to the guitar, since it has absolutely no padding. The tuner works fine, but it's not fancy or anything. The rest of the accessories are also decent, but nothing special. In short, decent guitar, ok accessories, cheap price.

I bought one of these as a low buck string stretcher to hang around in the house down south. I almost brought this thing back with me! I couldn't put it down. The only thing I did was to replace the strings with a good set of ultra light strings as I like the feel and tone I get from them. WOW!! I played around with this guitar for 4 hr's, I couldn't put it down. 99 bucks! You have got to be kidding! I wish the Martin sounded this good. I'm going to buy another one to mess with here! DON'T miss this deal. If you know someone who is interested in starting out this wouild be a great first guitar. Xmas is coming huh?

A great inexpensive accoustic guitar from some one who owns a Martin accoustic guitar. Tunes and plays very easy. Liked it so much I purchased two of them for my daughter and brother. Has the classic dreadnaught style and crisp sound.

I am not an expert on guitars. I've casually played, when I was able to get my hands on one, only because I've never owned one. I learned how to play by watching a friend of my mother's, play one day, while she was visiting, and it took my interest. I was a teenager then, but now I am in my fifties and I am still as interested as I was then. When I discovered this guitar, I knew that I had to have it (although any acoustic would do) but I was drawn to the Ibanez, and the price was right for all that I was getting (including the free shipping). And because the price was so right, I ordered 2. One for myself and one as a gift for a dear friend. Thank you Guitar Center for helping me to re-discover one of my passions. I will cherish this guitar, and it sounds great too. Thanks again.

I bought this guitar for my 14 yr old daughter for Christmas. She is just learning to play. My husband was very impressed with the quality and sound of this guitar. It is a great beginner guitar and very economical. I was very pleased with the delivery of this guitar. Everything arrived in Perfect, brand new condition. I ordered it about two weeks before Christmas and it was delivered in a about 5 days. The staff at Guitar Center was very nice and helpful. I had to call them and have them change the shipping address after I had typed the wrong address in online. They were very helpful and pleasant.

This guitar is absolutly incredible. It is very solid and sturdy. The neck is nice and wide, good for chords and melodies. It stays in tune extremely well, and the strings that come with it sound amzing. You WILL NOT find another guitar as good as this one for such a cheap price. The tuner in this pack is terrible. The gigbag gets the job done. The strap is reliable, it stays on very well. And the picks are just average picks. Overall, great package!!

I recently bought this guitar and have been able to teach some of my friends and myself to play on it. It is easy to use and not too expensive, I can also just pack it up and take it anywhere without having to buy a gig bag or anything because the jam pack includes one. I have played a lot of guitars, but this is probably the best to learn on.

This guitar is really good. It sounds how a guitar should sound plus its cheap. It also comes with alot of stuff you need to get started. I use it everyday and it sounds just as great as it did when I first got it. Best Guitar you can get if your just starting out. Just started playing the guitar, and I was impressed with the price on the package. I picked one up, and have been happy with it ever since. The accessories may not be the best, but for a starter set, perfect. It does need tuning quite often, but I need practice with everything, so no inconvenience. Overall, I was happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend it to other people just starting guitar.

I bought this guitar set about a month ago and found the guitar itself to be great quality even though the accessories were so-so. The tuner I got with the guitar was hard to use and the bag was very thin so I ordered another one but overall very happy with what I got for the price!

I received this guitar for my birthday about 4 years ago. The guitar provided great sound. It was beautifully crafted, and the strings didn't break after all of that time. I even got compliments from some avid guitar players in my class....(perhaps it's b/c I'm a girl) I have unfortunately dropped it and broke the fret board, I miss my guitar. Great buy.

5 stars and I mean it. Awesome, Awesome & Awesome. Let me start out by saying I am an avid Ibanez guitar player, I have an Ibanez AF105 semi hollow body, a Gax-70, an Art300, an Aes20 and NOW I have the JV-50. I was traveling in southern California and I did not bring a guitar with me, I bought a JV-50 and I was/am so impressed with the sound quality, easy of play, durability and value per dollar that I had to write a review. This is a Great guitar for any player, new or seasoned. This has become my new travel companion to alleviate worries of damage to my higher end guitars. GO GET IT!!!!!!!

This guitar is awsome. I bought it with my own money and it is the best guitar i ever had. Some of the stuff it comes with it is kind of cheap but this is a must have. I would replace the strings but you don't have to.I am going to definatelly buy another guitar like this.2 thumbs up. great for beginners.

my brother picked up an electric guitar. i saw that he learned fast. i always wanted to learn how to play the guitar my self. i like the acoustics more than electric. because you dont need cables,amp. plus i can take it with me to the park and play it. i did my research and i finally made the decision to get one. and remember i am no expert so if you are not an expert take my review in consideration. this guitar sounded bad . it sounded like the chords i was playing came out off my brother's cheap amp. the worst part was strings where too high up from the neck. i found out now thats called the action. the bad action on this guitar made it hard for me to change from one chord to another chord .the sales person told me that would cost me $50 to fix that problem,i said u know whant i would like my money back.i was lucky i realized the bad action within 30 days. i my opinion this guitar makes it hard for people to learn. i went to another store and bought me an Epiphone humming bird. this guitar is more expensive but i can change chord easy and it sounds like an acoustic guitar should sound.

I am a true beginner and this guitar has a nice sound to it, and looks rather nice for the price. The strings are a little rough so I will be shopping for something a little lighter for myself. The accessories are kinda cheap but they work for what my intentions are as a beginner. I suggest this to anyone looking to learn how to play the guitar.

Bought the guitar and signed up for lessons. The instrument is solid and sounds good. Easy to tune and all in all as promised. The gig bag is cheap but I didn't care. The guitar itself is perfect for a beginner. Very highly recommended.

This is the second year I've used this guitar for my guitar class. I order about 20 at a time because it's a great price for the package. Last year they were all great--sound, looks, and gear. This year, the 20 I ordered sound aweful. The strings WILL NOT stay in tune and the sound resonating from the guitar poorly amplifies the already bad sound. I think I will look for a different package next time.
