Hughes & Kettner

collapse expand iconDescription

The Hughes & Kettner TubeMeister 212 cabinet delivers a thunderous punch thanks to two 12" Celestion Vintage 30 speakers. Perfectly matched with any TubeMeister amp head, this closed back cab provides a full range of sound with chest thumping low end. Guitarists crave the aggressive bark of 12" speakers, and the TubeMeister 212 serves it up in spades. But this cab isn't just about volume—with a parallel output, you can link to another cabinet for lush, multi dimensional tone. Lightweight but loud, durable yet portable, the TubeMeister 212 lets your tone roar.

Legendary Tone Comes Standard

The TubeMeister 212 comes loaded with two of the most sought after speakers in rock: the Celestion Vintage 30. For decades, the Vintage 30 has been behind the tones of rock royalty, providing warm yet cutting midrange, tight bass and sweet treble sparkle. With two Vintage 30s, the TubeMeister 212 delivers all that British attitude in spades.

Built TubeMeister Tough

Like all Hughes & Kettner gear, the TubeMeister 212 is built to last. Its plywood cabinet is covered in a durable black tolex, protecting the speakers inside, while metal grilles allow their tone to shine through. Sturdy metal handles make transporting this 43 lb. cab a breeze. The TubeMeister 212 is ready to rock club after club, gig after gig.

Link Up and Spread Out

While a single TubeMeister 212 packs plenty of punch, the parallel output lets you link to an additional cab for a wider stereo spread or to increase your coverage in large venues. The TubeMeister 212's compact, stackable design also allows you to place an amp head on top to keep your stage footprint small. However you configure it, the TubeMeister 212 helps you achieve the tone and coverage you need.

A Cab for Every Setup

Perfectly matched with TubeMeister amps but versatile enough for any setup, the TubeMeister 212 cab is ideal for guitarists needing a grab and go solution for gigs of all sizes. Pair it with a TubeMeister 18, 36, or Deluxe 20 head for a compact yet powerful rig. Drive it with a higher wattage amp to really open up its potential. Whatever gear you mate it with, the TubeMeister 212 cab delivers legendary tone and road ready construction.

Solid construction and good-looking cabinet with classic, high quality sounds emanating from the two 12" Celestion Vintage 30s. I pared this with my PRS Tremonti MT100 and it doesn't disappoint.

I bought this to use at home. At one point, I played extensively in public, but now, 99% of my playing is in my living room. This cabinet has more than I'll ever need!

This Hughes & Kettner cabinet is awesome. I have my GrandMeister Deluxe 40 guitar amplifier head sitting on the cabinet in the vertical position. I love having the feet on the side of the cabinet as well as the bottom for this ability. This setup gives me essentially half a 4x12 cab saving space, raising the sound off the floor, and all the while still sounding amazing right out of the packaging. Those two 12" inch Celestion Vintage 30s speakers really move air, and can get quite loud if you need to just by turning that volume knob on the amp up.

I use this paired with a grandmeister 40 at home. It's not totally broken in yet, but really even straight out of the box never had that ice-picky high end that new cabs can sometimes have. Sounds great and full and low volumes too. Can't say enough about it.
