This is by far the best guitar stand I have ever seen. No need to assemble it (as it comes folded in a box), just need to unfold it and it is ready to use. I have 2 acoustics, 1 electric and 1 cuatro and they all fit perfect with room for an additional acoustic. You can also adjust the "arm-rest" so that you can have the space you want in between the guitars.

This stand was not only cheaper than other stands able to hold 5 to 7 guitars, but the way it is built makes it extremely stable. It is shaped like an A rather than an L as most of the other multi-stands are. Engineering-wise, this is much less likely to fail if bumped or moved around for gigs etc.
Also, being able to expand this Hercules stand by purchasing the expansion holders lets it comfortably hold 7 electric guitars/basses, 9 if they are all slim and you are careful when inserting or removing them.
The GS525B also came completely assembled, less the two expansion packs that took it to a 7 space unit.

This is a very well made stand and I've been pleased with the purchase. It takes up more space than I thought, but that's OK, I wanted to have room between the guitars. Even though I don't have any acoustic instruments, I wanted to have room between so that I'm not having to be so careful getting them in and out. That turned out to be a good decision. Also you need space for the straps. The unit needs to sit about 8" out from the wall because the guitars (basses in my case) sit at an angle. But a pleasant surprise was that the whole deal takes up so much less room than individual stands. I now find I have more room in my studio. The neck supports can be adjusted side to side which is a good thing. They also can rotate up and down and sometimes I wish they would just stay put but that's not a big deal. All in all, you couldn't ask for a sturdier, better made product. Oh, and there was nothing to assemble - it just all folds up neatly.

Had a need for a multiple guitar rack and saw all the good reviews for Hercules stands. I have been impressed with the quality of Hercules single guitar stands I've seen at Guitar Center, and decided to order the 5 guitar stand. Was suprised that it came with accessory to actually hold 6 guitars. I have been very happy with the purchase, it set up quickly and the stand is sturdy. Appears to be built better and more stabe than other stands with similar tubular design. Holds 5 electrics and 1 acoustic - spacing is not too tight. Worth the investment, cleared up some of the clutter. Would recommend it.

Great rack for multiple guitars. Conserves space way better than a bunch of single racks around the room. My only annoyance is the rubberized 'U' shape neck holders.... they can slightly stick, so be careful. It actually rubbed some black color onto my blond maple neck on my 75 Guild Acoustic. Yea... that hurt. Use a rag around your necks to make sure this doesn't happen to you.

I looked everyone online to try and find out for sure one way or another if this rack would work for a Dean ML or Dean V. Let me be the first to officially certify that THIS RACK WORKS GREAT for Dean ML's. It holds my 6k USA Custom Shop ML perfectly as well as all of my import MLs and ESP LTD. The ML's bottom two horns have about 3 inches clearance from the ground when the guitar is seated. Not much clearance but it is all you need. No matter how rough you are there is no way to hit the bottom horns on the ground when you put your ML in the rack. Great buy!

Having 6 guitars sitting in individual stands was taking up a lot of space in my basement studio and was afraid I'd bump into them in the tight space. This rack keeps them all nice and secure with a minimum of space. I added the HA205 expander and have all 6 in the same rack. 2 acoustics and 4 electrics. I was afraid they'd be too close together and and wobble and bump against each other but that has not been an issue at all. For the price, you can't go wrong!

We bought this product for my son's growing guitar collection. Just unfold and go! It easily fits his 5 electric guitars of varying shapes! We even bought an HA205 expander and there is more than enough room to fit his one acoustic guitar as well. This gives him really easy access and declutters his room nicely! Would definitely recommend!

I'll preface this review by saying that I originally bought at ProLine stand, assembled it, put some guitars on it, and realized how little protection it offered and how poorly constructed it is. Back to the store I went to return it and pay $13 more for the stand I should have bought in the first place -- the Hercules. It's beautifully constructed, requires no assembly (you simply unfold it into position), offers greater protection for the guitars, and easily accommodates guitars both in and out of cases. This is a terrific product that offers so much more value and protection than the ProLine.

Very sturdy! More heavy duty than other stands I have seen. Very well built. However, the box was totally destroyed when it arrived from GC. I am not sure this all happened during shipment as the box seemed to be "falling apart" and then was "severely taped" before being shipped. Anyway, the unit arrived with only one scrape/dent on the stand, but not enough to hurt it. I would ask that GC spend a little more time on the packing of these items in the future.

I am very impressed with the quality and flexibility of this guitar stand. I especially like the position adjustments, which allow a mixture of guitar sizes in any order. It also allows the storage of more guitars in a limited space than possible with individual stands. I can now store at least seven guitars in a space that would only display 3 guitars with single stands for each guitar.

In the past I had all single guitar stands then I got this one and it is great very sturdy easy to move just fold up and go no taking parts off or traveling with single stands now it's all in one great product. It was shipped and arrived on the promised date great job. This is a must have if you use more than one guitar.

The Hercules GS525B Five Guitar stand can actually hold up to 6 acoustic guitars. The stand comes pre-assembled in a 5 instrument configuration. Simply unfold it and use it. Parts are included to reconfigure it for 6 instruments (some dis-assembly and re-assembly required for the reconfiguration). The stand is sturdy, stable, and holds 5 acoustic instruments with room to spare.
