Hal Leonard The Very Best of Eagles - Updated Edition Guitar Tab Songbook

I bought this book thinking that since it was updated, then surely it must be more accurate. For those who don't know, the original version of this book was published by Alfred containing "Authentic Guitar Tab" and this new one is published by Hal Leonard as part of their "Guitar Recorded Versions" series. The original published by Alfred had a photo section with the history and commentary on each song by the Eagles. The updated version does not. It has been totally retranscribed by Hal Leonard and the photo and history section of the book totally removed. I have compared the original to the updated version and in my opinion the original, published by Alfred is better. In the updated version the guitar solo to Take It Easy is incorrectly transcribed using mostly single notes. In the original book the solo was correctly transcribed using double stops as it was on the studio version. The intro to Peaceful Easy Feeling does not seem very accurate either in the updated version. The original book had it transcribed much more accurately. I prefer Alfred's version.
