    • Where has this guitar been in my life?

I picked up a lightly used one from GC, Millbury, MA today. Played it for hours. As a jumbo it is loud and proud, but it has a surprisingly great tone. I didn't think the sound could outdo the looks but it does. I haven't tried plugging in. This is a lot of guitar for a very reasonable price. American made. Solid spruce top and gorgeous arched flamed maple back and flamed maple sides. It projects. The tone is nice with a lot of projection. Sounds nice when you strum or fingerpick hard or soft. So glad I picked this up today

I just purchased this guitar because I wanted a jumbo body acoustic in my collection. It has great sound. It's easy to play. I have a Martin 17 series that cost about three times what this guitar cost and I like this guitar just as much. The finish is beautiful. It has that jumbo body deep full sound. A great buy!

The flamed maple back and sides are really nice looking. The spruce top isn't the most select grade visually, but the sound quality is still excellent and the sunburst finish still looks good. It feels solid and well made with good tuners. It is a really big guitar, that along with the maple body and arched back provides lots of volume. Just needs a case.

    • Good choice. Have a guild 12 string as well.
