    The current Gibson cases are solid, and mine seems like it will hold up well. I don't think they are quite as nice as the cases from a few years ago that were made for them by TKL in Canada; the current cases are made in Costa Rica and don't state who the manufacturer is.

    I own an ebony 2023 Gibson Les Paul Studio. I have a dozen guitars and have owned many different kinds of cases. Trust me, this is a really nice case. I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of the case. I bought the black version but the brown model is just as good. I have owned cases by Gator and SKB and other companies in the past and recently tried a few of these types of case recommended for my Les Paul. I ended up returning them as not strong enough as the flat sides were too flexible to protect the guitar. Even though guitar manufacturers such as Fender, Taylor, and Gibson, and especially Martin charge more for their cases I have found that they are generally better cases. This Gibson case is much nicer than the other cases I returned. It has stiffer sides with an arched top that would be very hard to crush. It has 5 nice, smooth latches compared to only four on the other cases. It supports the neck of the Les Paul much better to better accommodate the infamous head stock angle Les Pauls are known for. The case just feels sturdier and is, as you would expect, a custom fit for the Les Paul. Finally, it is only slightly heavier than other cases. Well worth the money. If you can afford a Les Paul, you can afford this case. I highly recommend it over any of the other generic molded cases.

    I ordered this to have an extra that matched the one that came from Gibson with my '22 Les Paul standard. The one that came with my guitar was the same as pictured on this page. This one I ordered from Guitar Center is much cheaper, feels like plastic. Handle feels like it will snap.

    The soft case was okay but i feel way better about this one and the compartment has plenty of room for the small items that came with the guitar (cloth, strap multi tool) and a Spark Go amp. the inner case is plush and outer should hold up. the branding looks kinda cheep but that's the only complaint.

    I just bought this case thinking it was black lining. When I receive the case will it be black or Red? I purchased the case for my Gold Top . I was thinking that black would be better look. Let me know please.

    The ad's text says "Red plush lining with interior accessories pocket" the picture is clearly of a case with a "BLACK plush lining with interior accessories pocket" Can I get confirmation on which is correct?
