Whether you’re writing a new song or taking it to the stage, the J-45 EC Custom Acousti-Electric Guitar is an ideal musical partner. First introduced in 2003, this guitar combines Gibson’s time-honored bracing patterns of the 1930s with an original modern dreadnought shape, providing outstanding tonal quality. The solid rosewood back and sides, paired with the solid Sitka spruce top, delivers a full, rich and balanced tone. The cutaway body ensures
excellent access to the upper frets on the comfortable, ebony fretboard with a round profile and a mahogany neck. This version gets the Custom treatment, with Les Paul Custom-inspired cosmetics, including an Ebony nitrocellulose lacquer finish, multi-ply binding on the top and back, a Les Paul-style peghead with a Custom split diamond inlay in mother of pearl, a bound ebony fretboard with mother of pearl Custom Block inlays and gold Grover Rotomatic tuners. It comes equipped with L.R. Baggs Session VTC electronics and a hardshell case.
