Gibson

collapse expand iconDescription

The Gibson J-35 '30s Faded is a recreation of the original J-35 which evolved from the Jumbo in 1936, a time when the Great Depression was still wreaking havoc on Americans. Gibson developed the J-35 to be a pared-down model that still offered musicians a warm, balanced instrument. The J-35 '30s Faded delivers every bit of the seasoned, vintage look, feel and sound of the iconic J-35 with a satin finish that only adds to its rich legacy and undeniable vintage vibe. Discerning flattop players will love the rich, full-bodied tone from the vintage-inspired, round-shoulder beauty designed for superb playability and a simple aesthetic charm.

A hardshell case is included.

Just play as a hobby at home. I own a Gibson Hummingbird, Martin HD29V and a J45 but this is my go to guitar now. Very easy to play because of the light weight, only 4lb 3 oz. Always looks great, doesn't show finger prints. Feels great in your hands and a very comfortable neck. I've loaned it to a friend to play on stage and it looks and sounds fantastic.

I've owned a j-45, hummingbird, d16, hd28, d35… I keep coming back to this bad boy! Feels and plays great! I was a little hesitant on buying a full sat-finish guitar but it packs a punch! Nice low end boom. May purchase the j-45 in this series!

I own a few Gibsons and Martins. I got to say, this one took me by surprise. I'm a singer songwriter and gig 6-7 days a week. This guitar is so comfortable and has a surprisingly good low end punch.
