High-Gain Preamp Section With Expansive Tone Control
The BE-100 Deluxe features a high-gain preamp with an EQ section that provides a wide range of tone-shaping options. Treble, Middle and Bass controls are joined by Presence and Resonance knobs to adjust high- and low-frequency response. A 3-band active graphic EQ allows for additional fine-tuning. Whether you're after a tight, cutting lead tone or a thick, saturated rhythm sound, the BE-100 Deluxe delivers.
Flexible Power Section for Optimal Speaker Load
At its core, the BE-100 Deluxe utilizes four EL34 power tubes to generate 100 watts of tube power. The power section includes Half Power and Mute switches to scale back the volume when needed. Impedance options include 4, 8, and 16 ohms to match any speaker cabinet. This flexibility makes it easy to get the most out of your preferred speakers.
Additional Features for Performance Ready
A host of additional features make the BE-100 Deluxe ideal for any stage or studio performance. Channel switching between Clean and Overdrive channels can be done via the included footswitch or front panel controls. Bright and FAT voicing switches provide even more tonal options for each channel. Effects loops in series and parallel configurations offer flexibility when using time-based effects. The included noise gate and line out allow for quiet practice sessions and direct recording. With the BE-100 Deluxe, Friedman brings their signature high-gain tone and versatility to the modern guitarist.

The sound quality is poor with volume turned down on master control. Has a terrible flub when palming Bass knows. The amp never gets tight when playing Cords. Single picking notes seem to be OK. This amp is not what you think by all the push. For the money amp should meet all expectations for a high gain amplifier, it does not.
Fits me perfectly.

This amp is perfect for all my usage. I have been using Guitar amplifiers for 50 years. After trying most every brand of amplifier for the last two years I settled with the Friedman BE 100 deluxe. The amplifier is performing as I want an amplifier to perform. There's no need to write and explain. I'm the one that needs to be happy and i'm very happy with this amplifier.
Didn't Care For - For Me Worst in the Friedman line

Would be used for live performance as well as recording. The good thing is that it does sound good, but not great and not as good as other Friedman's and Friedman line. The design has changed over the years from more compressive and polished to more open, but even then, for whatever reason, the design has changed and not as good. It doesn't have the gain as previous BE models and I had on "10" and still could not produce what I wanted. Lastly, the global master or fx loop send was a horrible idea and had to constantly fight between all three volumes and the master. not fun. Do not recommend.
