You may know Fluid Audio from the great nearfield studio monitor speakers it produces. The company considers this Strum Buddy battery-powered mini guitar combo amplifier just like its monitors: a great sounding reference for the music you’re creating.

The Strum Buddy was born out of the desire for convenience and portability (two things guitar players greatly appreciate). All guitarists like to sit and noodle around on their guitars. It’s relaxing and a great way to expand your abilities. However, when you're sitting on your couch, it’s not so easy to bring your amplifier over, plug it in, get the sounds you want, etc. Plus, you’re always tethered to your amp by your instrument cable.

Wouldn’t it be great to have a small amp you could stick to your guitar and play with no cord?

Mounting to your guitar using a rubber suction cup, the Strum Buddy is a 6W guitar amplifier, powered by an internal rechargeable battery. It not only lets you hear and monitor your electric guitar, but allows you to play through the onboard guitar effect sounds, such as distortion, chorus and reverb.

    portability and performance to free you up to "Cut the Cord." Great for practicing oyur electric in siuation you would have been relegated to using oyur accoustic. great features and a great buy. super simple.

    As a songwriter/limited performer, i sound pretty good practicing at home but am usually unpleasantly surprised by how bad I sound playing a gig through my p.a. This is what I was looking for...a portable, easy, non involved way to hear my guitar playing amplified. It allows me to clean up my live sound while practicing at home. If you are looking for a studio sound, no not this. For what I have described though, the sound is clear and definitely amplified.

    I got this Amp and I was really excited. I plugged it in and it worked like a charm. When at full volume it can get a little fuzzy.

    The item description from GC's site (surely copied from manufacturer's site) mentions that this: "Includes 1/4 in. to 1/8 in. mono guitar cable". Responses have been that this does not include cable, so can GC please validate which is accurate and update information because Im betting on manufacturer's info which is in-line with reviews I've seen on several websites and recall them mention a cable as an included item. Thanks in advance!
