Jim Root Jazzmaster | Artist Signature Series | Fender

Description
The Fender Jim Root Jazzmaster V4 electric guitar is built to unleash crushing metal tones. Fender worked closely with Slipknot guitarist Jim Root to design every detail of this signature model around his heavy playing style, from the EMG Jim Root Signature Daemonum active pickups to the 12" radius ebony fretboard. The result is a weapon of mass distortion tuned for detuned demolition.
EMG Active Pickups Deliver Quintessential Metal Tone
The Open-coil EMG Jim Root Signature Daemonum pickups are the heart of the Jazzmaster V4's brutal sound. These active humbuckers have been tailored to Jim Root's specifications to produce tight, crushing mids and lows with just the right amount of high-end sizzle for defined chords and leads.
Hardtail Bridge Enhances Sustain
Unlike a traditional Jazzmaster, the Jim Root Jazzmaster V4 features a string-through-body hardtail bridge with block saddles instead of a tremolo system. This design dramatically improves sustain and tuning stability for heavy drop tunings and aggressive playing styles.
Mahogany Body Provides Thick, Meaty Tone
The Jim Root Jazzmaster V4's mahogany body gives this signature model a thick, meaty tone with punchy mids that cut through a mix. Its satin Polar White finish highlights the guitar's minimalist vibe and no-frills design.
Designed for Fast, Fluid Fretwork
A 12" radius ebony fretboard with 22 jumbo frets is built for fast, fluid fretwork and low action. The V4 also features a C-shaped maple neck for maximum comfort and playability.

First new expensive guitar I've purchased for myself and simply love it. Sounds amazing and as always Fender quality is top notch.

Love the guitar, pick ups are some of the best I've played. Fret work is clean, neck shape is the perfect balance between shred and baseball bat. My complaints 1. The nut comes set up to very thin strings. I had to file out some to get 10-52's to fit right. I would bend anything below the 5th fret and the string would pop out. 2. Volume knob isnt as sensitive as I would like. It cuts on very fast around 2-3 3. Bit pricey but unique so is expected
Absolutely love this instrument & well worth the investment

The sound of this instrument is simply just satisfying, cleans are bold and raw, while the overdriven sounds are very saturated & punchy yet smooth. Right out of the box, setup of the instrument was ready to play (in standard with light strings on it)..the 12 degree radius, just like the Jim Root Telecaster, is a familiar & comfortable feel. The guitars looks are just stunning: the binding & block inlays make it such an eye catcher. Would gladly suggest to anyone, Jim Root fan or not - its an excellent guitar.
