Good enough for me !

I am a 65 year old retiree and I decided some time back to go with playing Acoustic. Since I live alone, I wanted something at a low price, seeing that I am not made of money. I was originally going to buy a new one, but opted instead for a used one, which I bought from here over a week ago. I know it's a laminate but that doesn't bother me at all. I am only playing at home and am not gigging anymore, so it is good enough for me. I put a new set of Martin Strings on it, which have seem to improve the tone and sound. Plus it came with a Taylor gigbag which was a extra plus. Seeing what I paid for it, I got my money's worth and have zero complaints.

This Guitar Is JUNK

Three of the first five frets on this guitar were completely worn out withing two years. when Fender was contacted their reply was, "Sorry. Fret wear isn't covered by the warranty." Actually, nothing much IS covered by the warranty. I wouldn't recommend this guitar to anyone, novice or otherwise. It is a complete piece of junk!

I've used it for about 3 hours a week for the past 5 years. The nut broke when I was tuning it within the first 6 months. Paid about a hundred to fix and been playing it ever since. Probably going to upgrade soon though.

  • Definitely a great guitar for beginners and more experienced

Very nice looking guitar. Feels great in hands. Sounds good for a beginner level guitar. Don't have too many cons to say.

After 1 month, the neck twisted. Utter garbage. Fender should be ashamed to put their name on this. Not even good for a beginner. Had to throw it out.

What is the bridge saddle size??

What is the bridge saddle size??

    Open Reply - Gear-Support
The Fender FA-125 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar typically uses a plastic compensated saddle with the following approximate dimensions: Length: 72 mm (2.83 inches) Height: 9 mm (0.35 inches) Thickness: 3 mm (1/8 inch) These dimensions can vary slightly, so if you're replacing it, it’s a good idea to measure the existing saddle for the most accurate fit or buy a saddle that’s slightly oversized and sand it down to fit.
