Description

Straight from the studios of Music Row in the home of country music—Nashville, TN—comes the Deluxe Nashville Tele, a tonally versatile performer with a unique (for a Tele) three pickup design. A distinctive entry into the Fender family, this Tele growls, snaps and screams with flexible tone that can match any song. With its original Fender style, customized switching and fast, smooth playing feel, this Tele is ready to command any stage from the local honky-tonk to the Grand Ol’ Opry.

Two noise-free, highly articulate Vintage Noiseless Tele pickups inhabit the neck and middle positions, flanking the Vintage Noiseless Strat pickup in the middle to create an unbeatable trio. These pickups crank out rich, articulate tone, with the balanced string response, definition and twang you’ve come to expect from a genuine Fender instrument. Flexible five-way Strat-oTone pickup switching unlocks various pickup combinations, providing the perfect sound for any performance.

Enjoy increased sustain and slightly thicker tone that complements the famous Tele twang, thanks to the modern six-saddle string-through-body bridge with block saddles. A contoured neck heel and 4-bolt asymmetrical neck plate make it easy to comfortably reach the upper registers of the neck. The flatter 12”-radius fingerboard makes it easy to play fast leads and perform deep bends without fretting out. Locking short-post tuning machines provide increased break angle at the nut for buzz-free playing and enhanced tuning stability, along with quicker string changes.

Classic aesthetic touches include nickel/chrome hardware and a three-ply B/W/B or mint green pickguard, along with knurled flat-top control knobs and a black switch tip. A truly versatile performer with flexible sound, player-oriented features and original aesthetics, the Deluxe Nashville Tele merges the best of yesterday and today into a single, affordable design. Includes gig bag.

Big Fan

This is my first name brand guitar. I've played a Lotus (Knockoff Strat) for almost 20 years as well as a Monoprice Route 66 (Les Paul knockoff) through a fender stage 112 amp. I mainly play acoustic (Alvarez 5023) and chord/rhythm parts. I'm a hobbyist. I spent about 2 hours in a local GC playing everything from Gretsch G5420T, the Gibson SG, GIbson Les Paul, American/MIM Strats, ESPs, Fender Jaguars, and a a few Teles through the same amplifier. Honestly I didn't want to like the Teles due to the overall look and lack of flash. However, it felt really good....solid, but not heavy. The neck was smooth, action was good, and the notes rang true. After a few rounds with various guitars, my hands and ears chose the the telecaster. Went ahead and had my Tele setup by a local luthier to make sure it was up to snuff after the investment. I gotta say, I really really like playing it. Have found some famous tones in the guitar including Keith Richards, Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen, and Joe Perry all with a stock rock setup on the amp. I'm sure there's more to discover with more practice. It's just easy to play and gives a great sound with minimal effort. Good purchase in my book. Only thing left is test of time...

Great sound, but sub par craftsmanship.

I love the concept of this instrument. It provides both tele and strat sounds with modern specs. I fell in love with the pick ups and made the purchase. I should have inspected the guitar a little further though. There's some fret buzz around the 10th fret on the high E that won't go away. Even after a neck adjustment. The fretwork is also sub par. The fret ends were sharp and stuck out past the edge of the neck. I did the this fixed, but it's still not great. The volume control also rolls back too fast. At around 5 the sound is completely gone giving very little control over your sound. Be sure to play this before purchase as I'm sure other fenders have similar issues dispite the classic tones.

It is an awesome guitar and I absolutely love some of the premium features like the locking tuners. Pickups sound great. Guitar had a small chip on the nut and was delivered with a broken string and some scuff marks along the bottom of the guitar. I will definitely need to do a setup on the guitar.

I am not a full time guitar player, I use mainly for song writing and making melody, I also play metal but my PRE Marty Friedman was too rough and heavy for worship music, so I decided to go with this Nashville Tele mainly because of the Strat pick up, it is basically like having two guitars in one, you have the crisp sound of the Strat and the twang of the Tele, great guitar, great price (I used a 20% coupon), so I am extremely happy.

  • Two guitars pickups in one guitar! Best investment ever!

Love this guitar! It's great that the guitar has a Stratocaster pickup and the Telecaster pickups into one guitar. The tones are exact point on how they describe this guitar! The White Blonde color is gorgeous! I would buy this Telecaster again!

  • I would buy it again.

The only guitar setup better than this one, would be the Brent Mason model with the B-bender.
