    Fits my Lakland Skyline Deluxe 55-02 just fine. Of course, the molded body area isn't the exact shape but it is mostly fitting and holds the bass well so it doesn't move around. After much research I think it's the best hard case out there for my Lakland Skyline.

    My fender player plus 5 string fit perfectly. I love the storage compartment inside which you don't get with the similar gator case. Well built and not too big that it doesn't fit in the backseat of my subaru.

    Loved this case so much I got one for my Jazz bass and (it's cousin) for my strat. Well made easy to latch and unlatch and plenty of room To carry what I need for the gig.

    Would this fit a Lakland Skyline Deluxe 55-02? The horn seems like it could be 1.5" too long, but otherwise would be good? Am I correct on that? And if that is the case, could i lift the fabric, cut out a little foam and put fabric back down to achieve a perfect fit?

    I think it should be really good. In regard to playing with the fabric, that would require experimenting.
