    I just picked this up on sale and it is a steal at the current price. I am a Fender fan and own several Precision & Jazz basses. I have always liked the Aerodyne series, but somehow I've haven't purchased one until now. This bass is beautifully crafted and sounds great. It still produces that signature Jazz Bass growl but it has a decidedly modern tone, feel & aesthetic. For the price, you cannot beat this bass!

    All basses vary depending on the density of the wood. Even the same model can vary up to 1.5 lbs Manufacturers usually only spec size and type of wood. Bass Guitars are generally between 8.00 and 10.00 lbs. The only way to know the weight of an individual instrument is to weigh it. This will be approximately 8.0 – 9.5 lbs.
