The LTD Alexi-200 Alexi Laiho Signature Electric Guitar features a basswood body, and a bolt-on maple neck with rosewood fretboard. The neck is a thin U-shape with 24 extra-jumbo frets, providing comfort and speed. Sawtooth inlays and black hardware complement the rest of the Laiho guitar's look perfectly. An ESP humbucker pickup provides plenty of power. A double-locking Floyd Rose Special tremolo bridge gives you the control to make this beast scream and groan. ESP tuners ensure you'll sound spot on in tune in every key.

Awesome metal guitar for a med-budget!

I played this axe in the GC at Sunset, and the moment I started chugging my riffs, this thing blew me away. How much more metal can there be in this guitar?! (I plugged this in a Line 6 Spider valve 112) There are people out there who just hate on this guitar because it has an ESP pup and a Lic. FR. Those are all bad reviews because trust me, if this guitar is set up correctly, it doesn't even matter whether it's Lic. or Org. FR. Pros: - Decent price - Good feel - Great sound Cons: - The ESP pup is somewhat limited. An upgrade to a Duncan Blackout is a good investment. - Some people dislike Lic. FR. - No locking tuners.

Metal Guitar ONLY!!!

I Own This Guitar And It Plays And Sounds Great, But It's Only Useful For Metal!!! If You Play Jazz, Blues, Classic Rock Or Alot Clean Stuff, Then This Guitar Is Not For You!!! This Guitar Should Have Been Made With A Neck Pickup!!! I Would Recommend This Guitar If You Play Children Of Bodom, Van Halen, Brutal Metal Or Alot Of Whammy Abuse!!!

I love this guitar!!! It is so awesome looking and a thrill to play!!!! I bought this guitar with the intention of swapping out the pickup with a L500XL humbucker since I wanted this to be my LILLIAN AXE guitar!!

I was at GC trying to find a low end Martin that I liked, and while I was waiting on an associate I picked up this Seagull and gave it a quick strum, I ended up falling in love with this guitar, it played better and sounded better than the low end Martins I had previously played, I pick this guitar up every day, it's so fun to play, now I recommend Seagull to all of my guitar playing friends

I was able to get this bad boy used for half the price. This thing lives, breathes, and speaks metal all over the place. The stock pickup is pretty powerful on its own, but I recommend and upgrade to Seymour Duncan or EMG. The neck is super fast, my fingers almost flew off. The floyd rose could use and adjustment, but it won't get in the way of your playing. Fabulous metal guitar. It's aggressiveness will never cease to surprise you.

This guitar is absolutely amazing. The neck is crazy fast, and the pickup is astonishing for a stock pickup. The Floyd stays in tune pretty well and the body is very comfortable. I've tried all other types of metal guitars: Jackson, Ibanez, and Dean, but the ESP guitars are the undisputed champs. Although it has 1 pickup, it can handle the rhythm, lead, and solos all very well. No down side to buying this guitar, I mean it. The thing that really makes the ESP guitars stand out is the coat of wax they put on it. I have a Dean and the coat of wax lasted about 2 years of heavily playing it. The ESP I've been playing for 3 years and you can still feel the coat. Don't waste your time buying other metal guitar brands, or before you do just have a play on this one,and I guarantee you'll want it more. So go out and get one! ESP's are and will always be the best.

To start off great design...light weight, perfect weight distribiution...allthough it is just a floyd rose special...it keeps the guitar in tune extremely well while u do ur alexi style squeels ,dive bombs etc in low tuning like drop C, D. the neck is amazing better than any other guitar in this price range and even other higher price ranges like many of diamond series from shecter of bc rich etc. The pickup wasnt the best...I changed it for a EMG 81 and tottally rewired it and also instaled a tone nob with this its just tottally heavy and amazin ...I would sayt overall u could not get a better guitar for this much money it is just a overall amazing guitar specially if u wanna play COBHC .
