I decided to try these when the stock D'Addario Pro-Arte Nylon, Normal Tension (EJ45) on my Cordoba classical were constantly out of tune all the time, even while playing. The XT classicals were/are a life saver. These strings hardly ever drop out of tune and if they do its usually the "G" string. I have made these my go to nylon strings for my Classicals.

  • Waste of extra money.

Never got to play these strings. These strings kept slipping from the knots except for low E. Ended up double wrapping all the way across to the high E until that string broke.

  • I like these strings first time buyer.

Set up a classical guitar owned by a friend. She hadn't changed strings in more than 10 years. These new strings made her guitar sound like a new instrument.

The tone is sacrificed a bit, for longevity. That's the biggest difference between them.
