    I have tried many strings. Most sound really good at first but begin to muddy up pretty quickly. I like to dial in a little brightness on occasion and these strings hold their tonal qualities better than any others that I have tried. These strings produce a wide range of tones and last longer than most. If that's what you're looking for in a string, give them a try.

    I am a pro bassist and have been since the late 60s I went through all the usual rock strings somehow found Di'Addario's in the early 70s have used no others since. Recently bought a brand new bass with brand new Ernie Balls played if five minutes and tore the EBs off and put these on. I use these on my Gibson SG and Fender Precision, and the Halfrounds on everything else. When these go on sale I just buy them whether I need them or not although I have no problem buying them at the regular price. This string is simply the best there is for most genres.

    This is the first time I have used these strings. Sound great, feel great on my Fender Jazz Bass. Great price.
