So far... So good.

This kit has saved me a lot of real estate on my board. It cleans up the sound a good bit, especially if you're using true bypass pedals. I run a loop-master strip on my board. So that is a big help too. But it was very easy to make the cables to length, myself. I didn't have to bring it to my tech. If only making the 9v power lines were this easy... And the kit is lifetime warranty. Can't go wrong there. I will not knock George L's. They make an excellent quality kits as well. But some of the associated cost of their stuff is in the name. This PW kit has quality components and ease of use, at a very reasonable price tag. It may be a bit premature, as I just finished my board and have only used it for one practice, but I'd recommend this setup thus far.

Horrible Product

The cabling and connecting is easy on this system, but the cable jacks provided do NOT fit the inputs on my Dunlop Pedals. This product is unusable. I'd give it a 'zero' if that were a review option. Don't waste your money on this.

This is the second one I bought. The first one served its purpose well. This one is more for backup or a new length on my every changing pedal board! The awesomeness of this product is how easy it is to make your own cables. And the product is well guilty.

This cable kit is great. Clean, easy and comes with everything you need. My pedal board is aligned and efficient. D'addario hits a home run with this. No buzzing or humming at all. Easy to measure, easy to cut and I have some cable left in case I need it.

  • A Worthwhile Investment!

I recently re-vamped my pedalboard and wanted better patch cables. I was recommended this kit and I have no regrets. I set up my pedal board in under 30 minutes and was blown away at the improved signal! And cosmetically being able to cut custom wire lengths really cleaned up my pedal board making it look more professional. A+ in my book.

Used this on my first pedal board build, and will most likely be using it again (on my second build) this weekend. As some of the other reviews state, the plugs do not offer the tightest placement for pedals with side input jacks. Top mount may be problematic as well, due to the beefy plugs. However, the plugs are metal, weighty, and solid, which makes up for their bulk. Perhaps, in time, DiAddario/Planet Waves will come up with an alternative plug, the only drawback for those trying to conserve space on their board(s). Otherwise, a very solid product and easy to assemble. I don't know why I keep seeing reviews stating, "Dunlop Exclusive" and "Does NOT fit my Dunlop pedals". I've read reviews that state Dunlop pedals do not work with other manufacturer pedals (they DO) and the plugs from this kit DO fit my Dunlop pedals (they are all 1/4" jacks, the standard for pedals, and I own quite a few pedals from various handmade and mass production manufacturers). Dunlop is no exception. If space is crucial, I'd look at other alternatives, but if that's not an issue, this is a fine product to consider and simple to create custom cable lengths for a clean/professional looking board.
