Description
Since its founding, almost a decade ago, Chapman Guitars' core belief has been that, by listening to their customers and working with them through a system of open collaboration, they could make the instruments guitarists wanted to play, with amazing tone, playability and overall quality far above the norm. The result has been a rousing success, with increasing numbers of guitarists playing Chapman live and in the studio.
For those guitarists who want something special — individually hand-built, carefully crafted instruments made to exceptional standards, Chapman developed the British Standard Series of instruments, built in very limited numbers by a small team of talented, experienced luthiers in a small shop where each guitar can receive personal attention, their UK based shop is committed to building instruments that exceed even the highest expectations.
The ML-2 Modern British Standard features Chapman's take on the classic single-cutaway, dual-humbucker guitar, polished for the modern guitarist. With a smooth, fast 24-fret rolled-edge ebony fingerboard and roasted maple neck in a comfortable 25"-scale, it's incredibly responsive to individual touch. Hand-wound custom Chapman humbuckers with coil splits on a push/pull tone pot deliver a versatile range of tones, and the gorgeous flame maple top on a premium mahogany body offers up the classic looks and sounds you long for.
