The publisher should fix the typos in the beginning of the book as to not confuse beginners with wrong chord diagrams to the fingerstyle pattern.

I would give this book five stars, but there are typos. Fortunately, the typos are nothing that cannot be fixed with some kind of chord reference book. I am a fan of the Grimoire Series. Some guitarists may be deterred from this book because it is work to get through; it is not something you can breeze through in a week--at least for most guitarist. However if you are willing to put in the dedication, this book does what is advertised: it teaches you how to finger pluck Chords and Scales. The initial exercises are challenging, but everything builds to the scales section. Other than the typos--which are few--I am completely satisfied with this addition to the Grimoire Series.

This is a greatttt book. It gives you lots of different picking exercises, and you can use any finger technique with it, just translate it to the fingers you are used to or use. They give you scales, chords, and many different things to practice and after a while, different and complicated picking patterns become easier in terms of precision and speed. Very good buy, recommended.
