Breedlove chose African mahogany for acoustic-electric guitars in its Organic Collection Wildwood Series. To source the FSC Certified African mahogany, the Breedlove team traveled to the African Congo River Basin Rainforest. The mahogany construction of the Breedlove Wildwood Companion delivers a warm, rich tone that's ideal for players looking for a balanced and rich sound.

Breedlove soft cutaway design for easy access to all frets

The Breedlove Wildwood Companion acoustic-electric features a soft cutaway that opens up every fret for every lick. The unique design of Breedlove's soft cutaway balances the higher energy treble notes with the lower energy bass tones.

State-of-the-art Breedlove Natural Sound electronics

The Breedlove Wildwood Companion model is equipped with Breedlove's Natural Sound electronics. Natural Sound electronics feature soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls, plus easy battery replacement.

Thin UV finish on a convenient, travel-size acoustic-electric

Though it's a travel-size acoustic-electric guitar, the Breedlove Wildwood Companion has all the features of its larger cousins, including the benefits of Breedlove’s Sound Optimization research. A thinner, durable satin UV finish completes the Breedlove Wildwood Companion. The thin UV-finished top reduces weight and also contributes to a more complex sound with sustained overtones.

Other special features of the Breedlove Wildwood Companion acoustic-electric include chrome strap button, tortoise body binding and an asymmetrical headstock. This acoustic-electric also features forward X bracing and premium Breedlove chrome tuning machines with black buttons.
