The first battery-powered practice amp that I actually like

I love this little amp. I almost exclusively use the amp with my Stratocaster. It does a surprisingly good job of capturing those tube-amp "neck pickup" Strat sounds. I keep an extra set of batteries in a charger so it is always ready.
Fantastic little practice amp best purchase in years.

At home in the yard or in the car this little dude works anywhere. I have some large and very heavy amplifiers and they stay in one spot mostly and are way too loud for most general home or studio use, that's where this little Blackstar comes in. This thing doesn't sound like a toy or a piece of junk especially with the extension cabinet attached which I think is a must add on. I take this little dude with me everywhere even to the woods around the campfire, when camping or in our RV. It gets a work out everyday and is extremely reliable. The batteries last a long time and it uses standard AA batteries. The power adapter comes in handy around the house but with battery alone I can usually play for several days. It's portability and good sound output from such a small footprint is unmatched imho. I keep a fender mini-squire out on a stand for all my grandchildren to play and they love this amplifier's ease of use and "Loudness" :). The Blackstar is rugged and reliable even under children's use. I let them have at it! They crank it up as loud as it will go (of course) and blast the house with noise! My kids love it and I do as well. They think it's a Great toy, I think it's one of the best practice tools you can own. Like most musicians I own lots of gear but this little amp probably gets more everyday use than anything else I have. If you need supreme portability along with good decent sound, this is probably one of the best choices you can make. Bluetooth is a great extra add on from the original Fly 3 Blackstar and I own both of them. Make sure you get the advertised included ac adapter as mine wasn't included when the amp was delivered. I contacted GC and they immediately took care of the problem and express shipped it.
Awesome product I love it!

Got this because I wanted to be able to practice with wireless headphones but it only does bluetoooth input. Just a little disappointed that it was not clearly defined in the product description.

We have an Epiphone Power Players Les Paul and a Fender 20 Champion amp. Want to be able to play the guitar through an amp wirelessly (without a cable from guitar to amp). Is there a transmitter that would work from the guitar to the amp we have? Or can this mini amp or another mini amp work wirelessly? If so, would we need anything else to connect it? Thank you.
