Capture and play with ideas anywhere inspiration strikes with Pro Tools Sketch, a new non-linear, clip-based creation tool in Pro Tools, and also available as a free iPad app. Invite ideas to happen with Pro Tools Sketch—capture new ideas and experiment with arrangements to create something you love. Pro Tools Sketch features an expansion of the Pro Tools workflow: Start with non-linear, clip-based Sketches in which loops, MIDI, and recordings can be freely organized and played and then exported to be shared with friends, or take ideas into the Pro Tools timeline for further editing and mixing. Pro Tools Sketch also creates a common language across audio: take your project from iPad to bedroom to any studio around the world and collaborate with artists everywhere.

Pro Tools Sketch features a clip-based, non-linear environment, with 16 tracks and virtually unlimited scenes to launch samples/loops, record audio, and capture MIDI performances. It’s available as an integrated window in Pro Tools as well as a free iPad app that mixes familiar workflows with new ways to experiment with musical ideas. It includes a massive library of free loops, virtual instruments, and effects to inspire ideas and get you creating quickly.
