Arturia MiniFreak Stellar 37-Key Hybrid Synthesizer

Description
The MiniFreak Stellar lets you explore endless sonic possibilities with its unprecedented 6-voice polyphony. This 37-key hybrid keyboard encourages you to push creative boundaries with two digital sound engines, analog filters and a modulation matrix for crafting intricate soundscapes. It's not just the sleek all-black keys that stand out. MiniFreak Stellar is adorned with playful graphics that bring the signal chain to life and symbolize the unique effect of each control. From the resonance UFO to the ADSR rocket launch—take command of your sound with an out-of-this-world attitude. Whether you want to replicate familiar sounds or forge your own, the MiniFreak Stellar provides a wildly expressive playing experience.
Two Sound Engines Provide a Myriad of Oscillator Modes
The MiniFreak Stellar features two independent sound engines with over 20 modes between them, including virtual analog, FM and additive. The interplay between the engines results in unique sounds that evolve and transform over time. With 6-voice polyphony, you can create dense harmonic textures and chordal pads. The analog filters and VCAs shape each voice for musical-sounding results.
Modulate and Manipulate Your Sound in Real Time
An intuitive modulation matrix gives you control over 13 destinations with seven sources. Customize multi-segment LFO shapes, map envelopes and LFOs to multiple parameters at once and discover new sonic territory with FM and ring modulation. Four lanes of step-sequenced modulation let you weave rhythmic variations into your sound over time for evolving ambient textures or rhythmic basslines.
Built-in FX and a Capable Sequencer
Three insert FX slots give you a range of 10 types to choose from, including reverb, delay, distortion and more. Add dimension to your sound with stereo-widening chorus or surgical EQ before sending to the main outs. An arpeggiator and 64-step sequencer with parameter locks inspire new ideas and happy accidents. Randomization features put sonic exploration at your fingertips.
Premium Design and Expressive Playability
Despite its penchant for experimental sound design, the MiniFreak Stellar is also a responsive and expressive instrument. Its 37-note keybed features aftertouch and velocity sensitivity for nuanced control of sound. The slim keys provide a balanced feel for transitioning between keyboards and synthesizers. Connect a sustain pedal, clock or send MIDI to expand your creative workflow.

This instrument looks great, sounds better, versatile, affordable but not "cheap", and includes a plug-in that mirrors the instrument. Their are a few flaws with studio one but that may be user error not the product. Sometimes it doesn't connect to the plugin seemlessly.
