The band wrote all nine songs on the album, which they self-produced and recorded in Los Angeles. Punch Brothers features Chris Thile (mandolin), Gabe Witcher (fiddle/violin), Noam Pikelny (banjo), Chris Eldridge (guitar), and Paul Kowert (bass).
