  • Does Not Fit Tama Pedals with the Speedo Ring

    I ordered this to use on my Tama Iron Cobra 900. The linkage fits the slave pedal, but it won't connect to the main pedal because the Iron Cobra's Speedo ring gets in the way. Thus, the linkage also will not work with the Speed Cobra, which also has the Speedo ring. I should have realized this from pictures showing those huge connectors. Out of the box, its looks quite impressive. It is larger and quite heavier than the Iron Cobra's linkage. If you over-extend the inner rods, they will come off, unlike the inner rods of the Tama linkage which will stop at maximum extension and cannot be separated. This may or may not be an issue of concern to you. I was unable to use this linkage and test it in a playing situation, so I gave it three stars to indicate my neutrality.
