Amazingly Accurate
I replaced some ancient Behringer headphones with the K371-BT. I was afraid that, at my advanced age, I would notice no difference as I had always been happy with the old phones. As soon as I put them on, I was amazed at the improvement in clarity. I felt right there with the performers. I don't like the modern trend of excessive bass boost on 'phones and these deliver realistic, clearly defined bass without boost. Bass can always be added with no distortion if desired. The mid range is similarly clear and there is plenty of 'air' at the high end, or at least as high as I can hear. Voices are very present and natural, and pianos sound wonderful - the two tried and true tests of speakers or 'phones. I concur with some reviewers complaints about the Bluetooth DAC, but I would never listen to music critically via Bluetooth, it's more of a convenience feature to use with a phone or for mobile easy listening. Bluetooth is not really designed for audiophiles or pro sound engineers. I can't grade the build quality because I haven't had them long enough, but they seem sufficiently rugged. They are very comfortable in spite of being on the heavy side. External sound rejection is good, I can barely hear my cat complaining!

Great features, Terrible Durability
I bought these headphones six months ago and have been happy with them up until now. These are billed as a portable headphone, but I've only ever used them at home for studio/office work. Yesterday I noticed that the left-hinge where the phones flex had almost completely broken away from the entire headphone. You can clearly see in the photo where the left side has lost all structural integrity. It's so bad that the right ear no longer receives any sound, so a gaffer's tape fix is out of the question. This might be a fatal design flaw -- I've never owned a set of headphones that used a flex hinge and clearly it's insufficient for long term durability in this model in particular. Very disappointed.

I feel like AirPods has a stronger performance in terms of bluetooth headphones. I was just given 44.1 kHz as a sample rate, and I would say that this headphone is dark in terms of sound, and I don't think that I like this.
Perfect sound but fragile like a narcissist's ego

I'd give the sound quality a 5, it's really good -- very detailed highs and mids, deep pleasant low frequencies. But my god are they fragile. I knew about that and tried to be super careful, but about a month ago when taking them off my head the side just cracked and that was that. They are like a golden egg, you'll always have to tip toe around them to avoid breaking them. Until one day you'll break em anyway. It could be a month from when you buy, it could be a year (like in my case), but you'll break them pretty soon. It's unfair to those headphones to make them so brittle by design. What a shame.

I've had this product for a few years. I have really enjoyed them. But recently I picked up the headphones and the left side of the headband snapped in two.
Less than a year and already in the trash.

As a kid, my father had a hi-fi system and would use AKG studio headphones (K-240 or equivalent at the time) with a long coil cable. I was looking forward to have the same. When I saw that there was a bluetooth model that could also be used with a cable, I was happy and ordered it, even tough it did not have noise cancellation as other BT models in other brands do. On the plus side, I am not disappointed with the various cables that come with the headset. Audio quality is OK without being out of this world. But: 1. Right from the start, the on/off button wobbles a but and this just makes the whole thing look flimsy. 2. The headset is foldable. It looks like a bad idea to me. After a few weeks of use (teleworking at home, listening to music - putting the headset away in the bag provided with it), the right side started to get loose and I could not find the way to tighten it. More flimsiness. 3. I put it on my head as usual and the left side cracked. An issue that is reported by other reviewers and unfortunately I was not previously aware of. This makes the piece completely unusable, only the left hear has sound now and it no longer covers the ear. I am really disappointed and cannot recommend the purchase of this item. In fact, it makes me doubtful I will buy an AKG product again. For AKG: I don't know what is the contributive margin on the K-371 BT (and the non-BT version as I assume it has the same problem), but please consider whether it is worth having bad quality products on the market, even if on the low end of the range. It just destroys the brand value.
Works great... but owner's manual -- where is it?

I got the K371BT as a replacement for my Warranty-Expired and getting ratty K361BT. I am very pleased with it. The only problem that I have had with it so far is finding a useful owners manual so that I can see the criteria for setting up the Bluetooth in order for it to work with my Computer! I have gotten the BT to work with my iPhone... so I know that it works. I just don't know how to get my computer to recognize the K371BT in Settings so that I can listen to Music on the headphones while my iPhone is charging each night!
