    This mic preamp is a straight forward 500 series module that is capable of high quality top notch recordings. I personally have recorded acoustic guitars and lead vocal with it. I will be using the stereo pair of mic pres I bought to record over heads on drum set. I love the straight forward elegant design and the stepped gain knobs are a nice tough especially if you use this for stereo overheads. Lastly, the corner frequencies of the high pass filters are particularly well thought out and worked well for me in my new recordings. Buy 'em. They're good.
