Comments about Paiste 2002 Ride Cymbal:

I own the 20 inch and although all my other cymbals are Zildjians, I consider this my foundation. It is simply the best all-around ride cymbal I have ever owned. it doesn't matter what you ask of it musically - jazz, rock, funk, fusion, metal, r&b - it's classic shimmer, defined sticking, tonal balance, projection and multiple playing zones, (I count 5,) make this cymbal a dream to play. It also crashes pretty decently though I don't generally unleash it in any brutal way. For any drummer building a cymbal ensemble, this baby would be a great place to start.

    AWESOME RIDE

    By Raul Liendo

Comments about Paiste 2002 Ride Cymbal:

I treated myself to a 24" Ride. I was lucky enough to find one used so I didn't have to spend THAT much. The cymbal is a beast and I look forward to every opportunity I have to take it for a spin. The bell has a nice tone to it and the wash is very smooth considering the size of the cymbal. You can not go wrong with this line of cymbals made by Paiste!

Amazing, one of the best there is!

Comments about Paiste 2002 Ride Cymbal:

I have the 20" Ride after selling a AAX 21" raw bell ride, needing a new one. Paiste knows how to make cymbals! Amazing bell, cuts through ANYTHING despite its small size. The bow is very clean, crisp, and won't over-ring and ruin the sound. A perfect balance, and gives just enough to rock hard, or even play lightly Perfect for all styles of music. This ride is definitely a keeper (until it breaks of course) Then I'll buy a new one! A 20" 2002 Ride will ALWAYS be in my setup.

    memories....

Comments about Paiste 2002 Ride Cymbal:

I was a skinny little freshman when I bought this used cymbal w/ my first drumset.... The sound of this cymbal rippin' through the pep band & drivin' the jazz band through my high school years is one of my fondest memories. My only regret is selling it to help pay for college. Believe me, I'm saving up for a new one!

    20 Inch ride

    By Anonymous

Comments about Paiste 2002 Ride Cymbal:

I bought this ride at a Blowout price because it was baddly tarnished. Of course it didnt even effect the sound of the cymbal, the ride is perfect for all music from Big Band swing to a slow ballad. but for sure. CuSn8 bronze is HARD to keep clean once its tarnished.

Comments about Paiste 2002 Ride Cymbal:

Well, what can you say about it... It just works! The sound is bright and strong, works very well in every kind of music, especially heavy and rock. You can hear even the slightest touch. 20" is well enough, it shouldn't be any bigger!

    Paiste strikes again!

    By Drum guru

Comments about Paiste 2002 Ride Cymbal:

If you play classic or hard rock, this is DEFINETLY the cymbal for you! This ride is great for most other styles, too, but it compliments rock SO well! I own the darker 22". A Paiste Innovatons Medium Crash (16") compliments the 22" perfectly. I have rarely heard a better cymbal comonation. Great dark yet warm shimmering tones. The bell is awesome for accents! A louder version of the cymbal. This ride can even be crashed fairly well! Buy it!!

    Paiste 2002 24" Ride !!!!!!

    By noahr31

    from Oakdale, CA

Comments about Paiste 2002 Ride Cymbal:

First of all I want to say that the Paiste 2002 series doesn't have a bad cymbal in it. But, This ride sounds extremely awesome. It performs really well. I don't know about you, but I like the sound of the BIG ride. I like the 24" ride. It's sound is so unmistakable and perfect. This huge ride won't leave you wanting more. This ride can cut through anything. Even in the middle of me just pounding on the drums once I strike this ride, you can still hear it just as clean as any other time. It won't be a waste of money. I know it's a little expensive, but well worth the money spent. If you want a ride that is unique and can stand out like no other, you have to get the Paiste 2002 series ride. It doesn't matter what size, just get one of them. (Preferablly the 24" though.) They Are Awesome!!!!!!!!
