  • The only strings I will ever use.

    GHS Boomer guitar strings are the finest quality guitar strings you can buy at any price point. I have been using them for over 15 years and I have never broken one. Trust me, I am brutal on my guitars. I bust my hands open and bleed on the guitar and these strings hold fast. Originally I used extra lights, then custom lights. When I began singing I found that lower tunings made it easier for me to sing. I tune to drop-C and use medium (11's) and my sound has never been better. These are bright and articulate without being twangy. They are strong and expressive and bend very nicely. And, oh yeah, they are CHEAP! You cannot get a better set of electric guitar strings at any price. I would never consider changing to any other brand.

    I have been playing for almost twenty five years. I have used several different types of strings (almost always medium guaged) and I always seem to come back to the Boomers. For comparitavely in pricing I dont think you will find any others that are much better and you can definately find many that are considerably worse. I cannot say that I have never had one break on me, but this has been very few times. They stay in tune as good as anything I have ever used. On a side note, anymore I use a string lubricant no matter what strings I use either Big Bends Nurt Sauce or Graph it all, these help immensely, especially with staying in tune. Back to the Boomers... I play almost every day, and live at least four times per week in Church. The medium Boomers always come through just fine, esp with the lube. Buy with confidence (as much confidence as you can have in a set of strings) and Rock On!
