As far as rides go this is the best, no question. I have some really nice cymbals and the K custom catches the most attention. It's a ride with character, it feels perfect, it looks great and sounds amazing. It wont washout(unless you hit it wrong), with plenty stick definition. this sounds great with every thing, from death metal to jazz. The K Custom Ride is the perfect cymbal!
I played on this cymbal in the jazz band in highschool and only recently bought one for my personal kit. I play anything from jazz to metal and this cymbal has a place in all of it. It has such a perfect defined sound that can't be described. If you've never heard one of these, go to your local store and just play on one. well worth every penny.
When I bought my K custon dry ride I was amazed at the sound that I was getting out of it. It's been a little over a year now and when I play I'm still amazed at the versitility and amazing sound of this cymbal. It's NOT just a jazz ride. It can do everything from jazz, to funk, to rock, to latin grooves. It's an extremely adaptable cymbal with amazing great sounds. I reccomend you to check it out no matter what kind of ride you're looking for.
