Bass guitar is a notoriously difficult instrument to engineer, as even seemingly simple bass sounds are often run through a long chain of effects like compression, EQ, tape simulator and distortion. The Toontrack Bass Toolbox EZMix Pack is designed to ease that process, offering easy-to-use sounds without sacrificing control over the fine details. Created in collaboration with an all-star team of engineers, the Bass Toolbox comes with a wide variety of presets custom-made solely for bass guitar. Adding this pack to the EZMix 2 plug-in gives the producer access to amp and cab simulation settings, signal chains, DI combos and inserts that can be applied to any bass guitar source audio in any track.

With the goal of creating a versatile set of bass tools for all genres, Toontrack lead sound engineer Ulf Edlund teamed up with a group of prominent sound engineers including Randy Staub (Metallica, Avril Lavigne), Neil Dorfsman (Bruce Springsteen, Dire Straits) and Pete Henricsson (Refused, Meshuggah).
