The STLD46 provides you with a wide, 46" work area and 2 - 4-space racks for your outboard gear. It has 4 casters for easy mobility (2 locking), and is height adjustable, so you can match it to your existing studio furniture. It also has a desk shelf for computer monitor, and speakers and a cable port. Choose cherry (shown) or maple finish.
I bought this today at the clearwater florida store , got it home it was missing screws and it had a chip in the wood and a bent back plate. I looked on the box and it was made in China. That answered my questions. After a late night trip to the store to buy some screws, its all put together and seems fine. had to give it an average score of 3 stars based on that info, It will serve its purpose I would tell my friends to buy it. Hopefully they will get all their screws etc.
I purchased the maple desk. It was back ordered and took a couple of weeks to arrive. It arrived in two boxes, one with most of the wood and the other with hardware. I was a little wary because this unit is made in China. However, the instructions were fairly straight forward. I assembled it by myself with out any other person required. All of the hardware was in the box (some extra screws were provided). Assembly time was about 45 minutes. I only need a philps screw driver in addition to the tools provided in the box. Once assembled the desk is very sturdy and the rack mounts are the correct dimensions. You can view these assembled at most GC stores.
