This cymbal is definately one of the best rides I have ever heard. It has the sound of the more expensive rides at an unbeatable price. It is actually better than some of the expensive cymbals. This ride ads a lot of tone to my drum set and I'm glad that I bought it. So if you want a great cymbal that doesn't empty your pockets, these are for you.

This cymbal might sound good when u first start out drumming but as you progress u will soon find out that you have bought some trash. Its made of a sheet of bronze, sheet metal. This gives it a VERY annoying ring. Not a sustain but a bell influenced ring. You can buy much better cymbals for the same price. B8s are the laughing stock of the cymbal world. Go buy some paiste or wuhan(for china cymbals). So all in all this cymbal sounds REALLY REALLY bad, it gets annoying, you can find better, If you ignore this and buy it anyway you will be sad unless you like a trashy, cheap bell sound. And some advice dont be stupid buy without testing. Go to a shop and test out stuff and get what you like and if your buying off line the go o u tube and look up what you want to buy.

Not top of the line but still great!

Comments about Sabian B8 Series Ride Cymbal:

This ride is great! not the best, but for the price it can't be beat(considering it's quality). It has a great ping to it and a decent bell. The only problem is that stick marks show up on it all the time so you caonstantly have to clean it if you don't want the stick marks. overall a great ride!

Terrific value

Comments about Sabian B8 Series Ride Cymbal:

It's going to cost you $200.00 or more to get a ride cymbal that sounds any better than this one. Sounds alot like an XS 20 rock ride only better without the added cost or unbearable sustain.

Invincible!

By 48SS

Comments about Sabian B8 Series Ride Cymbal:

My cousin gave me this cymbal (and others of the same series) when I started which was like 5 years ago. These babies last so long. The only problem is that the finish wears off and becomes duller. It could?ve just been my cousin?s treatment of the cymbal before it was passed down to me, but cymbal cleaners fix it.

Great Ride!

By phoenix7289

Comments about Sabian B8 Series Ride Cymbal:

I love this ride! The bell is great sounding, and it has a great ping! I can get a crash ride sound out of it as well if I hit it in some ways! If I use a mallet, and slowly begin to hit it harder, I get a gong sound! It's really good for the playing I do!!!
