  As a rock guy, I find this the perfect cab for gigging typical bars and clubs. Has an old school vibe going for it and easily handles all that my Orange Terror Bass Head can dish out. No silly horn to disconnect or turn off and it easily gives me a good 15" sound in a smaller, more easily moved package. This is NOT a modern sounding cab... plenty of good old rock tone in a small package which does quite well for country also. I also want to say that this little guy can get quite loud before farting. It is seemed strange the first time our drummer said I was too loud. I highly recommend this cab but as always, try before you buy as this little guy is not cheap and might not be for everyone.

  that was the first thought I had when I heard this speaker. Me personally, I'm familiar with outstanding cabinets, and myself own Goliaths (4x10) and the "Fridge" (8x10). I hooked this "tiny" speaker up to the usual suspects - the Orange Amp Terror Bass and the AD200B but also to a SWR SM900, a SVT and some MarkBass head, I think it was a Little Mark 800 and all I can say about the sound can be summed up in one word: it's AMAZING. The speaker has that particular Orange Amp sound, it's warm, smooth, and somehow old school rocky, yet a little more "British", if that makes sense. Compared to the 2x10-version, the 2x12 is more earthy, solid as a rock and somewhat rough in the most positive sense. The sound, as I said, is amazing, the best thing though is the speaker's handling. Most serious players will have heard of Neodym speakers and their extremely low weight but this thing - it is mindboggling small and light as a feather, if you compare it the cabinets aforementioned. I'm not sure whether it stays as stabile as for example the Ampeg Fridge volume wise, but who ever can really say they have cranked that thing up to max without involuntarily start a demolition company? The Orange speaker with its 600 watts goes a long way and will get you through pretty much every gig, I'm sure. Plus you get to put some color to your setup
