Comments about Mitchell MB200 Modern Rock Bass with Active EQ:

As an experienced musician, I picked up this bass in my local guitar center as my first bass guitar. I love this instrument, it sounds great, and it feels just as great to play on. The only problem I found with it is some fret buzz on the low E string. But besides that, I would recommend this guitar to a learner or a professional.

Comments about Mitchell MB200 Modern Rock Bass with Active EQ:

I played one of these in stores and thought it was a steal for the sound you get out of it. I bought one and took it home. After about a day of playing i started to realize the a crackle that can be awful. If i can fix the crackle permanently , I would definitely play live and record with it.

Decent Bass for Beginners

Comments about Mitchell MB200 Modern Rock Bass with Active EQ:

I picked this bass up almost a year ago as my first bass. It played great, for the price, besides having lots of fret buzz on the E string. After about 6 months, the bass wasn't making any sound at all when I plugged in to my amp, even though I tried using different cables, amps, etc. I took it back to my local Guitar Center, and they replaced it for free, since I had a warranty. The second bass I have had for about 5 months, and there has been no problems, yet (besides the fret buzz). Overall, this is a great bass for beginners, but if you have a little extra money to spend, I recommend getting a higher-end bass. I will soon be upgrading.

Comments about Mitchell MB200 Modern Rock Bass with Active EQ:

I just picked up this bass as a first timer. I am very experienced with music in general and picked this up on sale at my local store. I love the tone and it feels great to play. I only have noticed some fret buzz on the low E string when played.
