The Line 6 DT50 112 Guitar Combo Amp is the most compact of the DT50 series with an amplification system that is able to configure and adapt its analog components and digital modeling in real time.

This means that when you select a model, the DT50 112 Amp instantly reconfigures the tube power section to provide the optimal tone. The digital section monitors the tube power section and can adjust the DSP in real-time.

At high volumes, the tubes provide more distortion. At low volumes, the modeling delivers more of the coloration. The digital section now "talks" to the analog section, and vice versa.

Matched with a custom Celestion speaker, the DT50 112 gives you great tone and authentic feel at all volumes all the time.

Amp didn't even work out of the box

Comments about Line 6 DT50 112 25/50W 1x12 Guitar Combo Amp:

After long anticipation I received my DT50 112 combo. Plugged my guitar into it. Turned the amp on in standby mode and waited a min for the tubes to warm. Turned the standby switch off and guess what? No sound. Wait I heard the relays clicking, the speaker is hooked up correctly, the tubes are all seated in their sockets and glowing red, but no sound so I change the guitar cable and guitar. Agains same result - no sound at all just a humming sound. I didn't have the HD500 hooked up to it. Just the guitar cable and the guitar straight into the front of it. Read the instructions, looked online, checked the box for damage or improper handling and found no indications suggesting it was damaged en route to my house. I go online and find out others have received this amp in the same condition upon receiving it - inoperable. That speaks for itself.

Would be a great amp except for the bugs

Comments about Line 6 DT50 112 25/50W 1x12 Guitar Combo Amp:

I have to admit the concept and vision of the DT50 is great and it really sounds good but the bugs...after several weeks of owning it all of a sudden I couldn't get the HD500 to make it switch toplogies, classes, or pentode / triode modes as advertised (which it did at first). There is also a popping sound when you change from some classes or toplogies to another. It's a real shame. This could have been the amp of the year.

I don't know what these people are talking about.

Comments about Line 6 DT50 112 25/50W 1x12 Guitar Combo Amp:

While I can't say that I have been able to spend a great amount of time with this amp, I can say that from the time I have spent with it it really is a great amp. 1.) That "popping" sound is the actual analog components switching inside the amp. 2.) Some of the amps work differently with volume levels and they may need to be adjusted between different voicings. Also consider the fact that this amp gives you the option to switch between two presets, Channel A and Channel B. This saves the amp voicing, whether its class A or class AB, and whether it is set in pentode or triode mode. All the knobs however keep the same settings as what you see, in no way do they change because they are "whizzywig" as they call it. Before you listen to these reviews, I would definitely say spend some time with the controls before deciding on this amp or not, because I definitely love it.

Comments about Line 6 DT50 112 25/50W 1x12 Guitar Combo Amp:

It was a hard decision for me to decide between this amp and the PRS archon. I am beyond pleased with how this turned out and I finally found my signature tone! The EQ is kind of more in depth even though its similar to other amplifiers, but this amp takes some tweaking between the knobs and balancing the channel volume and master until you get the sound that you like. I know when people here modeled, people lose their mind, but its just that the preamp voicings are modeled, but the sound is all analog when cranked. This amp does great for hard rock, metal, blues, and even country. Would recommend checking out this amp!
