These are capos, and they certainly do what they are meant to do. The many colors allow for matching with almost any guitar, and the easy 1-hand moving lets you switch easily between songs. it also allows you to leave it on the head of the guitar, so you wont lose it.
This is a really good capo and I highly recommend it. I even like it better than my old Shubb capo. The only thing I will say is stay away from the red one. It does not look anything like the picture. It has a metallic, purple-ish tint to it and the paint on mine was faded in some areas. Anyway, a really sturdy capo. A must-have.
I use Kyser Quick change capos on all my guitars I have a Martin D-35, J-18, Martin 12-28. I have been using Kyser Capos for 15 years and have had no trouble with them, other than the spring weakening over time.
