The price is good, but several notes didn't work. Leaked air really bad. Completely disappointed in the quality. I thought maybe I could have a knock around fun harmonica.... it went in the trash. This harmonica is good for a little kid to blow milk bubbles through while watching cartoons. I recommend spending at least $20+ if you want something decent for learning. If the harmonica bug really bites, get a Hohner 542 Golden Melody, Hohner 1896 Marine Band or Suzuki Promaster Valved.

Adequate

By Linda McCullers

from San Antonio

Comments about Hohner Blues Band Harmonica 1501:

The harmonica is fine. The advertised "song sheet of simple and familiar melodies" was one song (Saints) and it wasn't complete. Instructions on how to play are very minimal, but adequate to get started.

Comments about Hohner Blues Band Harmonica 1501:

Got the blues band set from a friend for my birthday after a week of playing one of my notes went bad. thinking I don't know what I'm doing and I'm just learning I figured I blew the Reed out so I order 2 of the key of G just in case it happened again. Right out of the box both number 2 holes didn't work at all. I've decided to keep them being the notes I need for the song I'm learning work and I'll get a better harmonica after I've practiced more. I know these are only 5 buck harps but I think they should work the first day you get them. gc shipped them fast and their service was great but they product wasn't worth the money.

Comments about Hohner Blues Band Harmonica 1501:

Everything about this harmonica is awesome! I bought it for my 18 month old and he loves it! The key that it is in, "C" I believe, is not annoying to hear and is not hard to learn to play.
