Best out of the box Guitar period

Comments about Gretsch Guitars G5425 Electromatic Jet Club Electric Guitar:

I have owned many guitars but this one really caught my eye. A Gretsch was one I wanted. I found this gem I liked the look of it. Mine is black, really black. Fit and finish are excellent gorgeous guitar the chambered body produces a great sound the pick ups are great for a guitar in this price range. They are shipped with and inspection card. The set up out of the box surprised me Action was perfect the intonation was almost perfect. Only a slight turn of the screw on the A string was needed. You want tone this is it. It really rivals my Epiphone Les Paul studio. It can be warm gritty and most anywhere in between. Better quality switch than most solid thunk pots are smooth and accurate. It has better strings from the factory. No muss no fuss. The best bang for the buck plays and sounds like more higher end models.I would highly recommend it!!!

    This Year's Christmas Guitar

    By Michael Bond

    from San Antonio, Texas

Comments about Gretsch Guitars G5425 Electromatic Jet Club Electric Guitar:

Blame this one on YouTube and the legendary Gretsch Sound. The Gretsch Jet Club, in black or silver, can hang in the looks department with my Epiphone Les Paul Standard. The shiny black paint, Gretsch logos, and Duo Jet design echoes make for a unique solid body. Its wider and lighter than my Les Paul Standard. The switch has a nice thunk, when you switch between the pickup selections. The tone hangs in with my Epiphone Les Paul Standard. The Jet Club has a breathy tone in the clean department. In the Marshall amp regions, the crunch and reverb gives a rhythm or lead guitar player something to work with. Set my Yamaha THX modeling amp on British metal - it could work without too many complaints. Had to order this one and it was worth the wait.
