Includes BP250 head, 115BPX speaker cab, covers for both, speaker cable, and instrument cable. That's 125W of trademark GK tone pushing a 15" speaker for plenty of volume.
I just got this amp and it's great. It's loud enough to play for a gig and the overdrive switch on the head, which doesn't sound the best, is still really convinient for rockers. I recomend this amp for any bass player who wants a great amp for a great price.

The only thing I really didn't like about this amp was some sort of built in heat protection thing. If the amp gets too hot it shuts off and in the middle of the gig that's not good. Also the cab isn't that loud, have smaller combos that have rumbled more then this. However the tone from it isn't too bad, so if you want something a cab and head instead of a combo for practice grab this, but otherwise don't gig with it.

I bought the GK Brat Pack 2-years ago so I could stop plugging directly into the PA. Planned to use it with a 212 cabinet I already had. Got the amp and the manual says don't run any other cabinets with it or it will melt. It can only handle an 8 ohm load and there is only one output in the back so there is no confusion about it. Daisy chaining cabinets (parallel connection) drops the ohms - 8 ohm cabinet + 8 ohm = 4 ohm load = melted GK amp. This amp sounds fine as a personal practice amp but if you try to run it at rehearsal levels with guitar and drums, let alone at gig levels, it turns into this muddy, painful, roaring sound. Don't buy this expecting to perform with it, and don't expect to be able to add anything to it. I ended up using the GK115 cabinet from this pack below a 410 cabinet run with another amp (400 watts at 4 ohms), and it works well to hold up the very low end. If that's all you need it for...just buy the cabinet. Don't expect to gig with this Brat Pack or you will be disappointed. I do like the covers that came with this...

Well this amp has served me good along the road. It is avery durable amp, i dropped the head a couple times on the way to some gigs and still worked fine. The wheels on the cab make it really easy to move around when i go to my gigs. I like this amp, but one thing i noticed, is that this amp has no highs at all! Im not sure if it was the cab or just the head but i tried everything and no matter what, this amp has no highs. It is pretty loud i can hear myself when playing with a band and they have halfstacks as well. The distortion is pretty good, ive never tried a distortion pedal so i dont know how good it really is. I also like the tuner out, it makes using my tuner easy since i dont have to unplug anything. the pad for actives is also useful. The amp heats up alot but it has never shut off on me. Other than that i would say it is worth it, i dont think there is a better deal than this anywhere else. But if you really want a nice bright tone, it wouldnt work for you unless you are at a very low volume. Its a good amp to start with like me, but i will upgrade to something more powerful and brighter in the future. it is very durable and if you like really low tone you should go get this amp!

This amp is amazing. When I first saw the price I thought it would not be that good, but as soon as I played it I knew it was quality. This amp sounds great and gets really loud. I just got it yesterday, so I don't know how it will hold up, but so far so good. You won't find a cheaper amp that sounds as good as this one!
