Durable, Traditional, Classic. If you are looking for the best case for your jazz bass, this is it. I have had a similar type case for my Stratocaster for 37 years. It is still in great shape. I got the black case with the orange interior (you can see picks and small dark objects better with an orange interior than a black one). A black case is also the way to go if you like to spray a white stenciled band logo or band name on your case; If you ever join a new band, and want a new name, its easy to spray black over the old logo and re-stencil the new name. Try that with a tweed case. My case is a G&G, made in USA one, with the large Fender Logo on the side of the case. I think this case offers excellent protection, without looking like a cheap plastic box.
For my American Special Jazz Bass, only one case will do: The Fender Tweed exterior and plush red interior. This case is truly well made, in the U.S.A. by long time manufacturer G&G Quality Case Co. Like other reviewers have said, it fits like a glove and has plenty of room. Also, the hardware on the case is sturdy, looks good and well made; and is replaceable.
I bought this case to match my vintage '65 precision bass. it fits perfectly and looks like the case you would expect to see this bass in. it appears to be made as well as the original and I am looking forward to years of service from it.
I needed a good solid case for my Fender Squire Jazz bass guitar and this one fit the bill. I got me a similar case for my Fender Strat guitar and so wanted the same good quality and craftmanship in a case for my bass guitar. The guitar fits tightly in the case - a perfect fit so there is no moving around when transporting the guitar. I recommend this bass guitar case if you want a sturdy solid good constructed case for your axe.
Just the case to get to pamper your Jazz or Jaguar Bass, old or new. Tweed with red interior looks amazing, fits like a glove and had room for all your extras!
I use this fender bass case to hold my Reggie Hamilton jazz bass. These things are extremely durable. I have tossed this thing around and seems to be solid as a rock. I also love the tweed with the red interior. Gives it a desireable vintage look. Would definitly buy another!
I have owned many guitars and cases, classic wood and modern plastic in 40 years of being a musician. I have owned several Fender Jazz Basses and Stratocasters, and the integrity of construction of the good old Fender case is without peer. The plastic ones have feet punch through, hinges tear out, warpage and cracking; but worst of all, there's never enough room for cords, allen wrenches, picks, wide straps, tuners, etc. You can carry your lunch and maybe Jimmy Hoffa in a Fender case. I one time had a car roll over my bass case, right across the bass at the neck junction, took it out of the case and found only a couple marks on the frets and a little crunched area on the case that didn't even show! That happpened on the road in Enning, SD in August of 1973. The real leather ends of the old cases were tough. Ignore the plastic; never trust a gig bag unless you also collect china, and just buy the real deal.
