Awsome Strings, Good for Quick Replacement

By Jared McSwain

from Stockbridge, Ga

Comments about Fender 3250L Nickel-Plated Steel Bullet-End Electric Guitar Strings - Light:

These strings are fantastic! If you ever find yourself with an unexpected broken or dull string, these are the quick go-to strings. I especially suggest these for those with more sensitive fingers as they do not dig into your fingertips as much as other brands. Bright, hits all of the highs, can withstand any style of music for a long time. I average these strings life expectancy to be around three months of good hour-a-day solid playing.

Nice Strings but.....

By James Gabrielson

from New Hope, Minnesota

Comments about Fender 3250L Nickel-Plated Steel Bullet-End Electric Guitar Strings - Light:

These are nice strings. They are what came on my 2 American Deluxe strats. They just don't last me but about 2 weeks if that. I notice they start showing flat spots around the frets that I play the most and do bends on. They have very nice tone when they are new. I'm thinking of trying the "Originals" in the blue package. They are supposed to be pure nickel wound strings and sound much better on a strat. Other than that these are nice strings. I just change strings quite often. You will notice the difference. Once they start getting worn they lose their nice crisp, clear tone. I wonder too why is it that they are a dollar cheaper online than if you purchase them in the store. Overhead, I guess.

Great strings, fast service

By Steve

from Knoxville, Tennessee

Comments about Fender 3250L Nickel-Plated Steel Bullet-End Electric Guitar Strings - Light:

I went to my local Guitar Center to get these strings and they were out of them. They ordered for me and shipped to my house. I gotta say the customer service is great. I received these strings in the mail in a few days. I've tried other strings on my American Strat but I like these best. The bullet end is great. Get them. You'll be glad you did. Better yet, get three sets like I did so you have spare.

Comments about Fender 3250L Nickel-Plated Steel Bullet-End Electric Guitar Strings - Light:

SO glad Fender started packaging my Bullets in plastic, 2 to a plastic package! in each card-box! They work VERY well and are reasonably priced to keep "Fender spenders" on my NEW American Pro Strat.
Planning now to order more sets since they come sealed now!

Best For My 2001 HSS Fat Strat

Comments about Fender 3250L Nickel-Plated Steel Bullet-End Electric Guitar Strings - Light:

Called out for my 2001 Fender Hot-Rodded Texas Special Fat Strat so these are what I use after trying a few other brands and gauges with it. Do find the High E string seems to break more often than other brands/heavier gauges, Bullet-end is more costly than generic wound ball-end and they do not hold the golden tone for too long before they seem to go really dead, really fast. Overall a tradeoff to have OEM strings in a OEM guitar and simply change them more often to keep the guitar sounding factory fresh. No biggie.

Comments about Fender 3250L Nickel-Plated Steel Bullet-End Electric Guitar Strings - Light:

With 50+ years of guitar-playing under my belt, these strings are one of my favorites! Over the years, I have tried many different brands. Although others are good, I seem to come back to these strings time-and-time-again. To me, these strings have: 1. a massive, classic tone, 2. lasts quite a while, 3. stay in tune and 4. bend nicely. I have them on a Strat...and every time I plug in, it sounds like Hendrix's 'Electric Ladyland' tone (although I don't believe these strings were available in his day). Thanks, Fender, for making these strings. Keep up the good work - and please keep making them!

Comments about Fender 3250L Nickel-Plated Steel Bullet-End Electric Guitar Strings - Light:

Very good surprise. I play for two years and an half and always read that light gauge strings didn't sound well. But I like the sound and these strings are easy to play, particularly on barre. I play with an Epi Dot.
The bullet end seems to deliver and it looks good.
