Well balanced tone!

I currently play a Fender Jazz and a Gibson Ripper with my band. I like the light weight and the playability of the Jazz, and the fat sound of the Ripper. The Les Paul bass seems to be the ideal combination of the two. We play mostly Motown and Classic Rock, with some blues and country on the side, so for me versatility is very important. The Ripper weighs about 10 pounds making it difficult to wear for an entire night, and the Jazz just doesn't provide enough punch on certain songs. When I played the Les Paul bass, I was pleased to dicover that it is perfect balance of the two basses' tones. Another plus is the slender neck on the bass. The neck feels similar to a Jazz bass, but does still provides ample resonance, and feels sturdy to the touch. I would certainly recommend this bass to most bass players.

Epiphone Limited Edition Les Paul Special Bass

This bass is one of the favorites in my collection, with all the perfect contouring of the classic gibson les paul guitar.this bass has $1000.00 worth of tone and the one piece neck very smooth low action with the factory setup. Stays in tune well when I play live. this bass has the classic tones and control like a Rickenbauker. can here the notes and riffs without an amplifier for practicing alone has a lot of value for a great price! Downside they dont have a 5 string yet!

Pleasent Surprise

After walking past this attractive bass on numerous trips to GC., I decided to play it. I was very surprised at it's tone , finish and overall quality. Where else can you buy a set neck bass for the price? The red one is drop dead beautiful and I only wished they made it in a short scale. No muddy tones like the old EB series basses. I really like mine.

Big things come in small packages

This is every bass players dream bass right here. This bass has a great sound. I never get any feedback from my amp. Great sound quality for any amp. The weight is very even not top heavy or anything it mostly stays where you want it to. Occasionally you will have to adjust afetr a while of jumping around. This bass may be heavy but it really gets around. I swing it and it goes very well> this is a must buy.
