  • Superb Picks!

As reviewed by Joshua Shaffer on 12/8/2009

Wow, I am absolutely blown away. When I think of playing electric guitar, I don't think of playing with that flexible a pick. When I first got them, I was like "No way this pick can stand playing for very long". I was dead wrong. This thing is like a plastic bag. Stick it in the ground and it'll last forever. Again, I would prefer a little bit firmer for solos, etc. but for rhythm rock guitar, this is the perfect pick. Awesome model, Dunlop! Great price, Guitar Center! Josh

  • Greatest picks EVER!!!

As reviewed by Joe on 6/23/2009

I have been playing guitar and bass for 20 years now. I bought a pack of 72 of these .88mm back in 1994. I never even considered any other kind of pick since then. The .88mm's are the perfect thickness for me. I can go from my guitar to my bass and use the same pick. I just counted what I have left in the pack and I came up with 69 left in the pack. I never broke one, just lost them. I will have the same bag of picks until I die, and pass them on down to my daughter. I love these picks!!!

  • Not Perfect But The Best So Far..

As reviewed by Robert Erpelding on 9/17/2008

I have been using the .60mm picks for both my acoustic and electric guitars for quite some time and by far they are the best pick I have ever found for my electric. The .60 is a bit on the stiff side for my acoustic playing but I love the grip and durability. I never have a problem holding on to the pick after a very short "break in period". I recently ordered a dozen of the .50mm picks to try on my acoustic and find them to be of the same quality and playability of the .60mm, however, the .50mm is a bit on the flimsy side for my personal preference in acoustic playing. I wasn't expecting such a marked difference in the two sizes. All in all the Tortex picks are the absolute best picks I've ever had the pleasure of playing with. They exhibit virtually no wear other than the logo wearing off. I always have a couple in my pocket. Would like to see a tortex pick in a .55mm. I know it is not a standard size, but it might just fill the gap for my personal playing style.
