A Tough Pick to Drop

For me, these picks are very similar to the "Tortex" models. However, the Gator Grips do indeed offer even more grip. They are extremely durable and often show little to no wear after countless hours of playing. Pinch Harmonics are very easily struck with these picks, because the grip ensures the pick is always exactly where you want it.

good value for money

I think these will end up being my pick of choice from here on out. I've been experimenting with all kinds and this is the best spin on the traditional pick I've found. I use the 1.14; good, solid, stiff and precise for most types of metal and rock. They seem to be made out of some kind of synthetic (nylon?) plastic-ish material, and have a texture that creates friction. I thought at first that this would be a problem with friction on the tip but a couple of hours of use makes the tip nice and smooth so you end up with a smooth frictionless tip like a traditional plastic pick and a nice textured grip where your fingers are. And on top of all that this material seems extremely durable, the pick seems to be virtually unaffected by pick slides (so far), I usually don't do pick slides because I hate the way they tear up the sides of regular picks. Good picks.

Review

Ever since I started playing guitar a few months ago, I could't find a pick that didn't slip out of my fingers. I tried Fender picks and the Dunlop Tortex picks. So I went to my local music store and got a few of the .71mm's. I love these picks. They don't fall out of my fingers and they sound great. I would highly reccomend these picks to anybody. Probably the only picks I will ever use.

Gator Grips

Hands down the best picks I have ever used. They very rarely slip from my fingers (while most other picks do all the time) and produce a clean, crisp sound. In addition, they hold up very well. Pick up some of every gauge, you wont be dissapointed.

Amazing!!

This pick is interesting. It has the width of a thin pick but the crisp sound of a medium pick. Acoustics tend to pick up thin picks hitting the strings instead of the natural vibrations of the strings. With this pick you have fast crisp strumming.
