Overview

Dean Markley's Vintage Reissue electric guitar strings are nickel-plated steel hand-wound slowly over a round core, which affords the outer string wrap to have 100% contact with the core wire. This allows the guitar string to vibrate completely for maximum sustain, creating a warm, full sound distinctive of classic rock 'n' roll.

Vintage Electric Reissue strings are the exact same strings, with the exact same formula, as the original Vintage Electric that became so world famous. The care taken in producing these strings ensures that they have clear tone and be as long-lasting as the original Vintage Electric guitar strings.

This special re-creation of the original string formula celebrates a return to vintage tones that modern players continue to demand.

The Dean Markley Vintage Electric Reissue strings received the Best in Show award for the Best New Accessory at Winter NAMM 2008 musical products convention

Best Possible Brand strings

By GR Storey

from Austin, Texas

The world can be a crazy place. Along with the miriad of joys to be found in his life, there's still a lot of trouble in the world. When I string my Tele with (Regular gauge 1973 Vintage) Dean Markley strings, I feel more at peace... more in harmony with the joy that this life has to offer. When I play on these stings, the world is a better place in which to live, and I am a happier guy. I was using these back when they were original issue.

I'LL NEVER USE ANOTHER BRAND

By Classic Rocker

from Idaho

I have used these strings for 3 months and have fallen in love with them! I first heard of Dean Markley strings from an ad, advirtising that Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson used Dean Markley strings. So since I am a die-hard Rush fan and my guitar strings had just broken and I said, "Hey, what the heck, I'll try them out." I strung up and I love them! They have great sound with and without distortion. They also have a reputation of lasting a long time and so far they have lasted much longer than the other string that I have used. I would definitely recommend these strings for any one, they are great and I will never use another brand of strings again! GO DEAN MARKLEY SRTINGS!
