Well depending whether or not your looking for a good bass... this ones pretty nice. But The Fender Squier 70's Jazz bass in my opinion, has a better vibe and sound. Now im not demeaning the Evo i just think the jazz Vintage 70's is WAY BETTER

As reviewed by Garrett on 3/11/2008

Awesome! this bass is not anywhere near costly, is fun to play, and is an overall great shortscale bass. good for beginners, intermediates, and experts. Replace the strings with some D'Addarios and play on. SUMMARY-Great buy. If you are lookin for a good bass and tryin not to spend too much coin, look no further.
