Overview

Tite-Fit roundwound nickel-plated electric guitar strings are designed to be a great all-around string available in a wide range of gauges. Based on a round core, the construction techniques for the Tite-Fit electrics are very old. However, the core wire and wrap wire in DRs are the latest, most advanced and expensive metals available. Use Tite-Fit strings for flexibility, tone, and long life. These guitar strings sound great for rock, blues, heavy metal, and jazz.

Gauges 10-14-18-32-44-56.

Perfect for Drop C

By Brian Knop

from Denver

Had been playing DR 11-50 Tite fits in Drop C. Switched to these. The 56 is just right to hold the low C in tune, and the 10 feels better than the 11's on the highest D for leads. Been ordering these offline and playing them for a few years now. I wish the GC stores stocked them!

DR Tite-Fit Healys

By Mike

from Wrentham, MA

These strings are great. I used to used Elixirs because they last longer, but you'd have to play them excessively if you wanted to get rid of the coating. It just doesn't feel authentic. I got these because i heard Alexi Laiho uses them, and, myself, being the crazed Bodom fan that i am, just had to try them out. I'm normally used to playing an 11 gauge in D/Drop C on a floyd, so i was a bit skeptical at how these strings would react. It took maybe an hour of playing in Drop C, and i got used to them. The tone/tension is great, and they hold their own in higher tunings as well, so don't worry about snapping them. Great for metal. check these things out.
